Curriculum

At Yorkley Playgroup our vision is threaded into our tailored made curriculum.  It is constantly evolving to develop the skills and knowledge needed for children to become successful learners, help prepare them for school life .We learn about all different religions and beliefs along with developing strong independent learners  to start their school experience.

Our aim is to deliver a fun and achievable curriculum that challenges, excites and inspires our children so that they become successful and confident to start school life, Children  who take a pride in themselves and achieve the best the can, as well as develop as curious thinkers with a love to learn and play.

The Playgroup’s curriculum promotes and sustains a thirst for knowledge and understanding, and a love of learning. It covers a wide range of subjects and provides opportunities for a range of development.  It has a very positive impact on all pupils’ behaviour, and contributes very well to  children’s individual achievements.
